"We enjoyed our stay at the Driftwood. Everyone was so nice, the owners and all the staff were wonderful. The rate is cheap especially for on the beach! It's a small place, not like the big chain hotels which makes it much more comfortable and personal. I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay around Daytona. It's close to everything!"

"In 1996 we took our first family vacation, I was 16. We stayed at The Driftwood and had a great time. When I got older and was married and had my own 2 kids and we took our first family vacation in 2011 I brought my family back to The Driftwood. We had a great time, and we are looking forward to our next family vacation which will hopefully be in 2014. See ya then."

"We found the Driftwood by chance last November and enjoyed our visit even with renovations. So this year we reserved again. We got here a day early and they were booked up so we stayed at another place for the night.
No renovations going on there but rooms were not in
good shape. Checked in here and immediately felt like we werec I coming home. Have the same oceanview
kitchenette room as last year. Still renovating but loved
being here. When I couldn't get the tv to work they were right there to fix it. We will be back again."

I found Driftwood and it was not only affordable for us, but we were able to envite 2 of our friends to join us with no additional cost. Everyone there was very friendly and we had a faboulous time! "We are tickled with our accomodations, LOVE the pool and also that this beach isn't driven on! Lots of families with children which is nice for my 8year old daughter - built=in playmates! Means Mom got to read a book by the pool uninterrupted! The beach is awesome - having a kitchen made this perfect for us - a week getaway with airconditioning (we camp but not in August LOL because of the heat) - for the same price as two campsites in a state park. The staff is AWESOME, and it an added plus that they all speak English as their first language (a rarity in hotels it would seem anymore). I hope the Driftwood is here for a long, long, long time because we'd sure like to plan on coming back!"
